‘Shaun’ the scaffold board bed
CHUNKY RUSTIC BED 
Georgia and Shaun are currently renovating their new house and wanted a new bed for when they move in. Georgia had seen a frame she liked and asked if we could make something similar. She liked the chunky rustic look of the bed she had seen so we decided to make the bed from scaffold boards.
The wall behind the bed in the room was going to be painted a dark green colour and Georgia wanted something that would compliment this. After a few colour samples we decided on a dark oak stain followed by a light sand then a dark oak wax.
We’re really happy with how the bed frame has turned out and look forward to seeing the finished room!
